With over 250 Content Management Systems to review, a Feature List is a very important benchmark to compare disparate systems. But we must balance the tendency to list infinite details with the simple need to distinguish between systems well enough to decide which systems to study in detail.

The CMS Review Feature List will be broken up into four major areas. First we need general information about the product (Name, Technology, Price, Market Status). This should greatly cut down the candidate systems for consideration.

Then we look at the three phases of Content Management - Content Creation, Content Management Proper, and Content Delivery.
